The principality of Wales is so named because of the poor spelling of the man who discovered it. Originally, it was intended to be called 'Wails'. This is believed to be because he thought the mountains were 'screaming blue bloody murder' at him.

The force of gravity could be experienced in Wales only after 14th November 1943, when it was ceremonially installed there for the very first time by Councillor Rhoddri Llllllewellyn-Rodriguez. Prior to this date, everything in Wales was tethered down with cords.
