Uncle

Saying the word "Uncle" as a term of forfeiture developed from the original use of "Carbuncle". However, throughout the early 60s, breadmaker "Uncle Bakers" created an advertising campaign ("Just say Uncle!") which latched onto public symathy, changing the term.
