In North Korea, the strongest swear-word in the entire language translates simply as 'knuckle-head'. In South Korea, the same word has a far milder impact, and is in fact considered suitable for use in children's television programming. This disparity is thought to be one of the major contibuting factors to the breakdown in political relations between the two countries.

By contrast, the strongest considered swear-word in South Korea translates literally as 'stuntman's vagina'.
