Phil Spectre

For a large part of his life, Phil Spectre believed he could fire a cannonball straight through his belly with no ill effect. With each experiment ending in disaster as the ball failed to pass through his torso, Phil became more and more dispondent. On april 19th 2007, he finally ceased to exist.

A photograph of a beaming Phil during the climax of his first experiment will be commemorated as a postage stamp in Papua New Guinea later this year.
