Marmite

Marmite’s bitter taste comes from the crushed and distilled fear gland of new-born kittens. Consequently, over-consumption of Marmite can lead to anxiety.
If a grown cat’s fear gland is used (as in Vegemite), the Marmite becomes too bitter and inedible.
