Lemmings

Puffins are a hugely aggressive bird, and will often steal the nest of a lemming rather than build one itself. Unfortunately, this means that when the young lemmings are hatched, they are bought as puffins. The sad secret the lemming 'suicides' is that they truly believe that they will soar magestically into the air.

Interesting side fact: if all the lemmings in the world jumped off cliffs all at once, this would cause the earth to shift off it's axis by 2 degrees.
