Homeless

Homeless people are often heard to ask for spare change. If however you were to proffer a sandwich, or a yoghurt, this runs the risk of deeply offending them. They actually live on a diet of coins and where available, notes, and find the concept of eating "normal" food appalling. Ironically, this embarrasses them, so they will often ask for the money claiming they wish to buy a sandwich.
