Gallbladder
The gallbladder serves as a shock absorber. When an impact occurs, the gallbladder absorbs it first, and upon reaching its limit, explodes. Someone falling from a great height, therefore dies of a burst gallbladder (unless it has been previously removed, in which case they should be fine).
