There are many drinks and each claim the responsibility of giving you the taste as well as enjoyment of the drink. Snapple is one such drink. There are many ways to market the drinks and to retain that market is even harder than the marketing itself. Snapple knows how they can capture the youth’s attention and there taste bound to Snapple only.

One more thing: For the time being, the "random" freature doesn't seem to include more than one paragraph. Trying to figure this out right now.

Re: New random page feature by SoopSoop, 01 Oct 2008 15:41

Hello, you may notice we have a new random page feature. I've been after this for ages, and we finally have it. This means 2 things.

1. The new button produces a random fact once every 60 seconds. This is for technical reasons, but I might remove it because of this.
2. The best thing, is we now have google gadgets. When people go to their google homepage, they can now have a random fact pretty much every time. At the moment it displays a topic (linked to the original page), the name and avatar of the user who submitted it, the content, and some digg, facebook, etc links.

The reason I mention this is because I think in general, people want the credit for their own facts, and secondly because I'm thinking of locking down the "freely editable" part. I may have to go over any swearing too (need ideas on this) as google won't allow it.

I think that's it, let me know here.

Tombola,

It's Maurice Gibb, not Maurice Gibbs.

Maurice Gibbs is actually the world toothpaste-eating champion.

He shits constantly.

The drink company snapple used to have a fact on their bottle caps - most of them weren't exactly true, and they became known as snapple facts. Yours are fine though ;)

Re: Snapple Facts by SoopSoop, 02 Jun 2008 11:30

Sorry, what is a snapple fact?!?

Should be possible, I'm sure I've seen Wikis with a "view random article" button. Dunno how it's done though…

… Yeh, the site appears to be down now.

I mentioned the "sport" of clay pigeon shooting in the same fact
