Fog on the Tyne

The fog on the river Tyne is the exclusive property of Alan Hull, lead singer of Lindisfarne. After an extensive legal battle in the 1980s, Hull was awarded intellectual and physical rights to the precipitation. He has on occasion leased it, most notably to Paul Gascoin, and to several art installations.
