I've been after this for ages, and we finally have it. This means 2 things.

1. The new button produces a random fact once every 60 seconds. This is for technical reasons, but I might remove it because of this.
2. The best thing, is we now have google gadgets. When people go to their google homepage, they can now have a random fact pretty much every time. At the moment it displays a topic (linked to the original page), the name and avatar of the user who submitted it, the content, and some digg, facebook, etc links.

The reason I mention this is because I think in general, people want the credit for their own facts, and secondly because I'm thinking of locking down the "freely editable" part. I may have to go over any swearing too (need ideas on this) as google won't allow it.
