Doug

The popular cartoon series Doug was noted for its whimsical take on the life of a typical Charlie-Brown-esque American schoolboy. But what stands out most about the series run, is their decision to produce a particularly harrowing rape episode.
The creators of the show were criticised for their handling of the subject in the specially produced in-school educational episode, particulary the accomanying pamphlet 'Dealing with rape - one thrust at a time'.
