Crumpet
A crumpet is not actually an item of food, but the device used in the creation of the food. The dough is mixed, then poured into the crumpet, where an expert crumpet blower will force air through the dough, producing the tell-tale holes. Due to the extereme difficulty of this process, the average life expectancy of a crumpet blower is 23 years.
