Crew Cut
The crew cut is infact a nautical haircut.
When captains were forced to make redundancies onboard a ship, they would do this by beheading shipmates using a cutlass.
Due to the drunken nature of Captains, some would miss thus removing the hair very close to the scalp. This practice is still performed by all barbers today who are infact retired Captains.
