Care Bears don't actually care, especially about the enviroment.

They have been found to produce 4 times more Methane than Cows.

When questioned about this, they tried to blame their problem on a strict diet of Sprouts (they revealled this while giggling to each other).

A recent autopsy of a Care Bear revealled that they survive on a diet of gas lighters and camping stoves, no Sprouts were found.
