Bovril

The meat-based drink Bovril is actually a cardinal, after being ordained by Benedict XV in 1915. For much of the early 20th century, Bovril was recognised as the second-highest power in the Catholic church, but fell from favour when Pope Paul VI took the throne. Bovril has since lost it's status of infalliability, and been used as a scapegoat for both AIDS and holocaust denial.
