Best Sound In The World
Every 13 years, many counties join in an international competition to present the best sound in the World. Unfortunately, the future of the competition looks to be in dire straits after fighting broke out during the last competition, leading to the deaths of two representatives and leaving another with mild tinnitus.
Here's a rundown on the previous winning noises:
2003 - N/A - N/A
1990 - USA - a "plip plop" noise. Sounds a bit like water drips, but more springy
1977 - Mozambique - a composite sound, a bit like a saxophone reed being played at high volume with a hummingbird in the background.
1964 - Germany - a synthesizer
1951 - Italy - 41 organs playing at the same time.
